This week’s stress relieving pose will be the Child’s Pose. I love this one!

Child’s pose helps create an inward focus and restore energy. It also supports mental and physical relaxation.

Child’s Pose

  1. Gently get down on the floor in a tabletop pose (prone on hands and knees)
  2. Bring knees together or just slightly apart
  3. Shift your bottom backward and sit on your heels
  4. Extend your arms out in front of you and rest your head on the floor (you can also modify and rest your arms along the outside of your legs if more comfortable)
  5. Let your torso relax and sink into your thighs
  6. Let your body relax and and breathe in slowly through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth
  7. Hold Child’s Pose for 5 minutes
